Meet the Dentists

Richard E. Williams, DDS

Dr. Richard E. Williams received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis. After graduation, he opened his private practice in Atlanta.

Dr. Williams strives to stay at the cutting edge of dentistry, improving his techniques and advancing his knowledge through many hours of continuing education each year. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Association.

A strong proponent of a fit and healthy lifestyle, Dr. Williams belongs to preventive health organizations. He is interested in longevity and anti-aging issues and has attended conferences on these topics. He’s always willing to share what he’s learned with his patients. He firmly believes that “Aging is inevitable; growing old is optional.”

Dr. Williams enjoys world travel and photographing the places he visits; his photos of exotic destinations are displayed throughout the office.

Alex Rodriguez, DMD

Dr. Alex Rodriguez received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 1999, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry in 2004. He has worked as a dentist in Midtown Atlanta for the past six years.

Dr. Rodriguez takes great pride in his technical skills, and abides by a philosophy that emphasizes providing logical solutions for stable, functional, long-lasting, and beautiful dental work. He believes that when patients are comfortable and understand the treatment, it makes the experience more enjoyable, so Dr. Rodriguez will always talk openly and honestly with you about your needs in order to provide the best treatment that his training and experience can bring.

Born in California, Dr. Rodriguez grew up in a military family and moved often. He spent time living overseas in both Germany and Korea, while here in the United States he mostly lived in different parts of Florida.

During his time off, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys anything outdoors, including gardening, taking his dog to the lake, playing disc-golf with friends, or camping for a weekend. But above all others hobbies, bicycling is his main passion. His love for cycling blossomed during college where he spent years as a mechanic turning wrenches in a bicycle shop and competing on the University of Florida’s Cycling Team, where he won several medals with the team at the national collegiate level.
